KURZE BESCHREIBUNG DER  MALTECHNIKEN IN DIESER KUNSTAUSSTELLUNG

HELIOGRAVÜRE

Verfahren zur Herstellung von Ätzungen auf Kupferplatten für den
Handpressen-Tiefdruck (Kupferdruck). 

Bei diesem Verfahren, das im Gegensatz zu den original-graphischen Verfahren, wie >Kupferstich oder >Radierung, auf photographischer Grundlage beruht, wird ein Diapositiv auf chromiertes Gelatinepigmentpapier kopiert. Diese Pigmentopike wird auf eine mit angeschmolzenem Asphaltstaub
bedeckte Kupferplatte übertragen, die anschließend je nach der Dicke des beim Auswaschen entstehenden Gelatinereliefs, verschieden geätzt wird.
