Heiner
Müller, one of the most important German writer in poetry and prose was also a
director and manager in the popular theatre scene.
1950,
he wrote articles for several newspapers

That piece, it came to corruption, was until 1975 as a print out. It was, to
critical remarks on the DDR regime. Besides a ban on performing the show
followed the expulsion from the writers' association because of his critical
public statements.
Died
in 1966 his first wife, the writer Inge Müller, also at the conclusion several
of his works was involved, through suicide.
1970
to 1976 he was at the Berliner Ensemble acting as dramaturge. Then he moved to
Volksbuehne. A year later he received the National Prize of the GDR,
representing a rehabilitation of the writer.
1985
Award of the Georg Büchner Prize, Germany's most important literary award.
In
1988 he returned to the writers' association added.
1990,
he was the last president of the Academy of Arts in East Berlin elected.
1990 Heinrich von Kleist price.
In
1992 he became a member of the Board of the Academy of Arts.
In 1995, Heiner Müller, tue Berliner
Ensemble. Müller was a
widely honoured playwright.
